The Warriors approved a four-team trade that was in jeopardy due to the condition of guard Gary Payton II.


According to ESPN insider Adrian Wojnarowski, the trade has been made official, and the players involved could play for the new teams as early as Monday.


As part of the trade, the Warriors sent center James Wiseman to the Pistons for Saddiq Bey and Kevin Knox, the Hawks gave the Californians five second-round draft picks for Bey, and then the Warriors sent Knox and the resulting picks to the Blazers for Payton.


Last summer, Payton underwent surgery on his abdominal muscles and was forced to miss the first 35 games advised by soccer predictions of the season. Gary returned to duty, but, as it turned out, he did not fully recover.


The Golden State team determined the player would miss a significant portion of the remainder of the season due to injury. The Californians decided to go through with the deal anyway, and filed a complaint against Portland.
