Jos Verstappen has spoken out about his son`s future at Red Bull.


Verstappen Sr. noted that Max`s camp is not going to rush or rush anywhere - against the backdrop of a new scandal unfolding at Red Bull in the context of a struggle for power. It was also previously reported that Verstappen`s representatives will hold negotiations with Mercedes after the Miami Grand Prix:


It seems to me that now every team is trying to get Max. Only Max himself is now where he needs to be. He has a fast car, but he also needs to think about the 2026 season [and the change in technical regulations]. So right now we just want things to run their course. We remain calm and we will see what happens in the future.


Jos Verstappen also refused to comment on the information that Adrian Newey has decided to leave Red Bull:


I`m not going to say anything on this topic. . . and what should I say about it? I don`t know anything about this at all. There is a [contractual] agreement between Adrian and Red Bull - and then we will see. I can`t say anything about it. We all know how good he is and what he is capable of.
