Forbes has released its list of the highest paid Formula 1 drivers in 2022.
The current two-time Formula 1 champion Max Verstappen took first place in the ranking - according to Forbes, the Dutchman earned a total of $ 60 million in 2022. Of this amount, 40 million are salaries, and another 20 received as bonuses.
In the list, Verstappen was ahead of Lewis Hamilton - the seven-time F-1 champion under a contract with Mercedes earned 55 million this year. In third place is Fernando Alonso, who received 30 million from Alpin
